A Las Vegas Funeral Home Rooted in Service and Commitment
Established in 2012, Heritage Mortuary was built around a responsibility we take personally: caring for loved ones and helping families understand the decisions ahead of them.
Our Licensed Funeral Director, Larnique Mickens, brings 24 years of United States Air Force service to her work with families. Her commitment to preparation, accountability, and serving others continues through her leadership at Heritage.
Our Team as walked where you are walking now and we do not take it lightly. We welcome families of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds. We want to understand who your loved one was, what mattered to them, and what your family needs now. Those conversations help us create a service that feels personal and reflects the life you are honoring.

Our Promise To Your Family:
Bottom line upfront we promise Heart-Work
Entrusting someone with your loved one’s care is a deeply personal decision.
- We will listen. Your questions, concerns, family traditions, and wishes belong in the conversation.
- We will speak plainly. We will explain unfamiliar terms and walk you through the process.
- We will explain your choices and costs. You should understand what a service includes and what additional charges may apply.
- We will help you understand the timing. We will explain which decisions need attention now and which can wait.
- We will confirm your wishes and explain authorizations. You should understand the arrangements you are approving.
- We will keep communication part of your care.
You can bring us questions before, during, and after the service.
We just do not do funerals, cremations, and celebrations of life.
It's Who We Are.
We operate in integrity, place serve before self, and pride ourselves by displaying excellence in all we do. It is our pleasure to serve you and your family with meaningful choices for the life you’re honoring. A meaningful tribute begins with the person. It may include a favorite song, a familiar prayer, military honors, shared stories, or a gathering where family and friends can remember together.
Our funeral and cremation services in Las Vegas include:
- Funeral and burial services, including viewings, chapel services, and graveside arrangements.
- Cremation options, including direct cremation and arrangements with a viewing, memorial, or celebration of life.
- Personalized memorials and celebrations of life that reflect your loved one’s personality, beliefs, and relationships.
- Veteran services, including help reviewing eligibility and coordinating military honors and cemetery arrangements.
- Transportation arrangements, including assistance bringing a loved one home from another city, state, or country.
- Planning ahead, with guidance on documenting wishes and understanding available choices.
If you have something particular in mind, tell us. We can discuss personal touches such as a
horse-drawn hearse, meaningful music, keepsakes, or ways for distant family members to participate.
A Community Pillar, Rooted in Service
To us, being a community pillar means being a resource families can turn to for clear answers, practical guidance, and care that continues beyond a service.
Our community involvement has included educational conversations with local groups, churches, and schools, along with clothing, food, and toy drives. Larnique serves on the International Order of the Golden Rule’s 2026–2027 Board of Directors.
We want you to know us before you need us. Whether you are preparing for the future, honoring a veteran, or facing a loss today, you are welcome to start with a conversation.
Clear conversations about costs
Price matters. So does knowing who will care for your loved one and what that care includes.
At Heritage, we will talk through the services and merchandise you are considering, explain what is included, and identify additional charges that may apply. Ask us to clarify anything you don’t understand.
A simple service can still hold deep meaning. Our role is to help you understand your choices and make arrangements that reflect your family’s needs, wishes, and budget.
Planning ahead starts with a conversation
You can begin by asking questions, talking about your preferences, and learning what is available. You do not need to arrive with every detail decided.
We can help you think through funeral or cremation choices, personal traditions, and the information you want your family to have. Recording those wishes can give the people you love a clearer place to begin.

Support beyond the service
Questions and grief can continue after a service ends. You are welcome to contact us for guidance about next steps and available grief resources.
Ask about our complimentary online grief support and resources you can use at your own pace. We want your family to know where to turn when another question comes up.
Let’s take the next step together
When you call Heritage, we will start by listening. We will ask a few questions about your situation, explain the next steps, and help you understand what information is needed.
Whether you need assistance now or are planning ahead, you don’t have to figure everything out before reaching out.
At Heritage, we do heart work. We will walk you through the process.
