Larnique Mickens takes great pride in her role as a mother to her children, Asia and Skylor. She comes from a long line of military volunteers, being a third-generation member herself and having served in the USAF for 24 years before retiring. Larnique is also a trailblazer as a first-generation Funeral Director, notary, Black Belt Six Sigma Business Consultant, and First Lady. Her dedication to her community is evident through her lifetime membership in the Air Force Sergeants Associations (AFSA), with Chapter 1252 Nellis AFB being her cherished home Chapter.
Originally hailing from West Palm Beach, Florida, Larnique draws inspiration from her mother and grandmother, who served as influential role models in her life. They imparted upon her invaluable guidance, wisdom, insight, and a strong set of values. It was through their teachings that Larnique developed a deep-rooted passion for serving others. Despite humble beginnings, she has achieved success through sheer hard work, unwavering commitment, and an unyielding drive. Larnique is a compassionate and dedicated servant leader, and she has been happily married for 22 years.
At Heritage, Larnique can be found leading her team with utmost dedication, arranging meaningful ceremonies for families, and educating them on the importance of celebrating their loved ones and fostering connections with family and friends. Her expertise in funeral services is further enhanced by her completion of the Small Business Administration's (SBA) Emerging Leaders Course in 2021. In recognition of her exceptional leadership skills, Larnique was inducted into the Women's Chambers Hall of Fame in 2023.
Under Larnique's guidance, Heritage has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious titles of Best of Las Vegas Funeral Home in both 2021 and 2022. Additionally, the SBA honored her with the Veterans Small Business Award in 2022, and Heritage was named a finalist for the 2023 Nevada Business
Bishop Seals felt a strong calling from God, which led him to pursue preaching. Remarkably, he delivered his first sermon at the tender age of five, captivating and blessing the entire congregation. Besides his devotion to God, Bishop Seals can be summed up in five words: serving families, weddings, and funerals. Throughout his life, Tyrone has possessed an unwavering love for helping others. It was during his college years that he developed a curiosity for the funeral industry, driven by his genuine care for people.
Bishop Seals currently holds esteemed positions as the Senior Pastor and Founder of the New Birth Baptist Assembly Church, a role he has fulfilled for an impressive 37 years. Additionally, he serves as the Senior Officiant at the renowned Flamingo Hilton Hotel & Casino and is one of the founders of Heritage Mortuary Inc. Having been trained by some of the most esteemed professionals in the funeral industry, Bishop Seals brings an extensive 46 years of knowledge, education, and experience to every family he serves. His dedication and passion ensure that each service is a heartfelt tribute to honor the life of the deceased.
Tyrone is intimately familiar with the military lifestyle, as his wife is a retired member of the United States Air Force. He has dedicated countless hours to volunteer work at Nellis Air Force Base, earning recognition for his exceptional efforts. Supporting veterans holds a special place in his heart, as he considers them his brothers in blue, a sentiment he has often heard his wife express. Through marriage, Tyrone has become a part of the military family, further deepening his commitment to serving those who have served our country.
