Vanell Ray Meeks was born to Willie Ray Harold and Jerry Meeks on October 11, 1980, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Vanell accepted the Lord at an early age and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Vanell loved his savior Jesus Christ.
Vanell was a Las Vegas native. He attended Rancho High School. Vanell was a cook and loved to cook. He was loved by all. He was a loving and dedicated father. Three words that described Varnell are funny, loving and unselfish.
On Tuesday, November 20, 2012, our Lord Jesus Christ called Vanell to leave his earthly home and come to his heavenly home. Vanell though you have gone to a better place, your presence will always be here on earth. We all LOVE and will MISS you always!
Preceding Vanell in death were his grandparents John and Lolene Harold and Jeff Meeks; his great-grand Mother Nodie Neal; and his Aunt Bobbie Meeks.
Vanell leave to cherish his memory, his mother Jerry Meeks; father Willie Ray Harold; 4 sons Vanell Jr., Keijohn, Elijah and Malikai; 2 daughters Kia Meeks and Tiairra McRae; 2 brothers Asten and Airreon Meeks; 3 sisters LaValentine Harold, Qualeen and ,Ayvion Meeks; and his grandmother Bernice Meeks; 3 Uncles Don and David Harold, and Tracy Meeks; 2 Aunts Gwen Rose and Dixie Meeks all of Las Vegas, NV. A host of relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
