Torone Barnett

Torone Barnett was born in Saginaw, Michigan on June 10, 1952 to the late James and Tommie Etta Barnett.
Torone was a graduate of Saginaw High School class of 1971.

Torone accepted Christ early in his life.  He enjoyed singing, directing the choir and playing the organ.

Torone enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was known for being the “Life” of the party.
On Friday, September 2, 2022, Torone transitioned this life to be with his Lord.

Torone was proceeded in death by his parents James and Tommie Etta Barnett. His maternal grandparents; George and Alice Ransome, paternal grandparents; James and Rosie Barnett, sister; Deloris Barnett, two brothers; Robert and Ernest Barnett, niece; Fayleta Williams and nephew; Harvey Barnett.

Torone leaves to cherish his memory: two brothers; Otha Barnett of Midland, MI, Kenneth (Carletta) Barnett of Las Vegas, NV, one sister; Cecelia (Willie Alston) of Phenix, AL, two special nieces; Lenette and Keisha Barnette, a special cousin; Mrs. Shirley Jolly, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
