Taisha Lynette Lewis was born on January 3, 1966, in Los Angeles, California to Willie Lewis Jr. and Ethel L. Lewis.
She attended elementary school at Manhattan Place Elementary School, went on to attend Henry Clay Jr. High School, and Cleveland High School in Reseda, California. She was a member of First Church of God Center of Hope as a Senior Usher and President of the Junior Usher Board for years.
After graduating high school she began working for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department as a cashier and later as a cashier’s supervisor. She moved up to various positions, last being in Human Resources. She relocated to Fresno, California where she was employed by Fresno State University in the enrollment department. She studied Business Management/ Human Resources Management at University of Phoenix in Fresno, California. She later relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Taisha became a member of First Church of God Las Vegas and later became a member of God’s Children Bible Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Leroy Battle. She was a true believer in Jesus Christ. Taisha served as minister of missions and prayer warrior at God’s Children’s Bible Fellowship as well as other duties.
On December 17, 2020, the Lord called His servant home to be with Him.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her father, Willie (Skip) Lewis and Mother, Ethel Lewis, two sons: DeAndre (Brittni) Lewis and Donovan (Marcia) Lewis, one granddaughter, Kamryn Nicole Lewis, two uncles: Otis Mitchell and Larry Mitchell, six aunts: Hazel Collier, Zerader Trimble, Cynthia Mitchell, Juanita Mitchell, Beverly Lewis and Celeste Lewis and a host of cousins and friends. She will be dearly missed.
