Richard "Rooster John Boroski was bom on June 18, 1938 to John and Wanda (Angel) Boroski. He grew up with his sister Joann (Hepbum), Diane (Filter), and brothers Donaid and Larry on the family farm in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio
Rich graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1956 where he was the fire-twirling drum
major of the marching band. He served his country in the US Navy both in active duty and in
reserves. His most memorable stories serving his country were on the USS Canberra in the
Mediterranean.
Returning to Mt. Pleasant after his service, he led his own polka band The Travelers, and he
found the love of his life, Naomi Lon Loper. Richard and Naomi married in 1961.
In 1970 with the help of his brothers Donald and Larry started Boroski Brothers' Construction. In
1985 he moved to Las Vegas. There he became a Superintendent for Parini Construction and
helped build and construct some of the major high-rise casinos on the Las Vegas Strip
He was active in Mt. Pleasant Dillonvale Lions Club, as a volunteer fireman in Mt. Pleasant, in
mountaineering, black powder reenactment, and hunting and fishing in the Sierra and Rocky
Mountains
After retiring he spent countless hours in his wood shop Working on various projects, when
asked what he was working on his reply was "I'm making sawdust
Rich is preceded in death by his father John Adam Boroski Wanda (Angel) Boroski, father-in- law Ellsworth Tage" Leper, mother-in-law Lula Bell (Weishans) Loper, sister Joann Hebum.
Surviving are his wife Naomi, their children Richard Adam and wife Kimberly Bames Borosk
(Reno, Nevada), Elena Boroski (Las Vegas), Jason Boroski and partner Ei Stock (Mt
Pleasant), grandson Ethan Emery Boroski and Jonah Stock, and nieces and nephews.
