Latonia Renae Scott Williams was born September 19, 1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada to her proud parents, Eddie Scott and Linda D. Williams. She was the second child of five siblings.
Latonia attended Loris Craig Elementary School, Dell H, Robinson Middle School and Eldorado and Basic High Schools. Latonia had a love for Christ and became a member of Portals of Glory Church if God in Christ under the leadership of the late Robert Jefferson. She also attended St. John's Church of God in Christ at a young age.
Latonia was a great mother to her children and her grandchilden were her heart. She had an unbreakable bond with all of her siblings. Latonia, Dee and Stacey were "Ride or Die". Latonia also had a special bond with her father, Eddie Scott, and an unconditional love for her mother (PUDGE). She also had a special love for her cousins.
Latonia loved to cook and play her music; especially the blues and gospel. Her two favorite songs were Still Here and Something About The Name Jesus.
Latonia was a very loyal person who always tried to see the best in everyone. She had a great, genuine love for everybody. She loved entertaining and having people at her hone. Latonia also loved her cowboy boots and hats. She worked in the medical field.
Latonia was preceded in death by her granddaughter Za'Khi McLean and the father of her children; Darryl Pickens, Sr.
Latonia leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Eddie Scott, mother; Linda (Robert) England, two daughters; Shamika (Lando) Dixon and Bre'Ana Pickens, two sons; Darryl Pickens, Jr. and Demetrius Pickens, three sisters; Stacey Williams, Dee (Lamar) Williams and Melanie Clark, one brother Eddie (Andrea) Scott, Jr., the special person in her life; Marchus Weatherspoon, eleven grandchildren; Honesti, Kenyon, Braylen, Dillan, Amiyah, Imani, Ivy'Anna, Lundon, Asia and Demetrius, Jr., three special people in her life; Chantra Thomas, Roshonda "Ro" Morris and Britney Wade. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
