Katrina Brown

August 3, 1986 — July 8, 2024

Katrina Marie Brown, a loving daughter known as Katie, Kit-kat, and Kat, was born on August 3, 1986, in Illinois to Terry and Tamera Anglin. Katrina had a vibrant personality that could light up any room. Her infectious smile and genuine nature touched the lives of many. She was a great listener, a compassionate friend, and a problem solver, always willing to lend a helping hand. Katrina had a remarkable ability to make others feel seen and heard, offering her support and guidance whenever needed.

Professionally, Katrina was a highly accomplished HR Benefits Specialist. She held a Master’s in human resource management and was also a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Her dedication and expertise in her field were highly regarded by her colleagues and the organization she served.

In March of 2006, Katrina met her soulmate, Michael and the two exchanged vows on May 31, 2008. Their union brought forth three beautiful children: Christopher, Micaela, and Meleah, whom Katrina cherished and provided a loving home for. Her love and warmth were evident in every interaction she had with those around her.

During her leisure time, Katrina enjoyed engaging in her favorite pastimes, such as reading, playing bingo, solving puzzles, and participating in board and card games. She had a deep love for the Green Bay Packers and could often be found passionately rooting for her favorite football team. Katrina's musical preferences included artists like Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, and Chris Brown, while she held a special place in her heart for movies like Save the Last Dance, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Outsiders, and Grease.

Katrina's faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and interactions with others. While she did not belong to a specific congregation, her strong Christian values were evident in her personalized relationship with God.

In June of 2020, Katrina, Michael, and the children relocated from Illinois to Las Vegas,

Nevada to start a new chapter in their life.

Preceding her in death were both grandparents: Johnny and Catherine Chitwood, Charles and Patrica Anglin, and her father, Terry Lee Anglin.

On July 8, 2024, Katrina Marie Brown passed away from this life peacefully.

Katrina leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness. She will be deeply missed by her husband Michael, her children: Christopher, Micaela, and Meleah, her mother Tamera, siblings: Kelly, Elizabeth, Jeremy, Samantha, Alyssa, and Adam, as well as numerous friends and extended family members.

Katrina Marie Brown touched the lives of many through her kind heart, unwavering support, and dedication to helping others. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. As she would often say, "Love you mostest like a hostess."
