Karl Richard Jameson was 80 years old when he succumbed to COVID and viral pneumonia on January 26, 2022, after a short stay in a Las Vegas hospital. Richard was born July 24, 1941, in Price, UT, to Karl Marx and Afton Anderson Jameson (both deceased) and older sister, Karen Hugh (Kent) Cedar City, UT, younger siblings Roger Marx Jameson (deceased) (divorced Bonnie Reed, married JoAnn Johnson) and sister Joy Lea (Jim). Richard’s children with Sandi Majors (divorced) are Kimberlee Jameson Vargus (Louis), Suzette Jameson, and Richard Travis Jameson. Richard’s widow Teresa Jameson and step-children are Luis Romero, Ivan Romero (Janeth), and Alina Romero (Roman Barron). Richard had numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Richard grew up on a ranch in Kanab, Utah. He was an entrepreneur and lived in Las Vegas, NV for over 60 years owning many successful businesses. His hobbies included his work, family, coin collecting, gambling, and gardening. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Heritage Funeral Home, 3610 N. Rancho Dr. Las Vegas, NV at 2:30 pm. A family service will also be held in Kanab, UT on February 5, 2022, where Richard will be buried alongside his parents under the red hills of home.
