The life book of James Leon Dailey opened December 14th, 1987 to the parentage of John Dailey Jr. and Carol Clayton-Dailey in Los Angeles, California.

James was the youngest of 3 sons in the Dailey lineage. James was 4 years old when his parents relocated from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Here is where he received his formal education attending Guy Elementary School, Swainston Middle School and Mohave High School. James went on to Clark County Community College where he embraced the trade of an Auto Technician and acquired his first job with Terrible Herbst. His quest for knowledge lead him to an apprenticeship with Ed Bozarth Chevrolet and he was subsequently hired as an Automotive Technician.

Raised with strong Christian beliefs and morals, James accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age. James was quiet, outgoing and very fun loving. He loved the outdoors and various forms of adventure. In his spare time, he loved to work on and enhance his Chevy Silverado Vortex Max and Ford Mustang constantly challenging himself with the latest video games; ultimately mastering them with perfection.

James was a true lover of life and always approached it with optimism and vigor. James consistently challenged you to "Keep it Real". To know him was truly to love him. His departure from this life will leave a void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. Both his maternal grandparents Leon and Dorothy Clayton preceded him in death and were there to welcome him home.

James Leon Dailey's beautiful life will forever be cherished and remembered in the lives of his parents John Jr. and Carol Dailey. Brothers; Jonathan Dailey of Los Angeles and Jason Dailey. Paternal grandparents; John Sr. and Latishue Dailey of Los Angeles. Uncles and aunts; Gerald and Lisa Clayton of Huntsville, Alabama, Kevin Dailey of Los Angeles and Georgina Hawkins of Los Angeles. Niece and nephew; Jizelle and Jonathan Jr. (JD) of Los Angeles. Grandmother; Sue Clayton of Sulphur Springs, Texas. Cousins, friends, co-workers and the entire Ed Bozarth Dealership family. James was also affectionately known to his friends and co-workers as "Jimmy".

The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord. On July 24th, 2016, James' candle diminished and God raptured his spirit. Proverbs 20:27
