Elijah Malcolm Hopkins was born in Baldwin Park, California on November 20, 1998, to Mark Hopkins and Ronna Macho.
He was the youngest of his siblings, and the youngest of 10 grandchildren. Elijah was named after the prophet Elijah in the Bible, and his middle name was given after his great grandfather.
He graduated from Mojave High School, “Class of 2017”. During his high school years, Elijah was on the swim team, and received the “Clown Fish Comedian” Award. This award really captured the essence of who he was, a jokester at heart. Whether he was pulling a prank, being hilarious; he kept you laughing and was a treat to be around.
He loved everything artistic, music, drawing, free styling, online gaming, Bruce Lee movies, anime, and all things Japanese.
On the outside he was calm, easy-going, polite, and grounded. Underneath he was outgoing, bigger than life and an absolute beacon of light. Elijah was pure, genuine, humble, giving, and honest. No one is perfect but, he came awfully close.
On Saturday, June 19, 2021, Elijah departed this life.
Elijah leaves to cherish his memories his parents; Ronna Macho and Mark Hopkins, siblings; Lucas and Minnie, his grandparents; nephews, cousins, friends and lastly his dog Pakkun who misses him just as much.
Elijah Malcolm Hopkins will forever be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends. Even though he has left this earth, his memories will forever live in our hearts.
