Denylle Attia McDowell Grace was born on October 30, 1976, to Dennis and Virginia McDowell in Panama. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in English Education with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Denylle furthered her education by obtaining a Master's degree in Administration from National University. After dedicating 20 years to teaching middle school, she transitioned into a career as a massage therapist, working initially in various salons before establishing her own mobile massage business.
On Monday, December 2, 2024, Denylle passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis McDowell; her maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Lily Drayton; her paternal grandparents, Birdtrill and Fannie McDowell; three aunts: Patrice Williams, Mary Drayton, and Rebecca Mitchell; and four uncles: Freddie Williams, Calvin McDowell, Eddie McDowell and Robert McNealy.
Denylle is survived by her mother, Virginia McDowell; her sister, Joshlynn McDowell; her brother, Spencer (Cheryl) Fraser; her aunt, Loretta Drayton; uncles: George McDowell, Benjamin Drayton III, James (Doris) Drayton, and Frank Drayton Sr.; nephews: Philip Frazier, Tyrell Stallworth, and Daryl Drayton; as well as a host of cousins, extended family, and many dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
