Clarence Penny Jr. was born on January 28, 1979, to Betty Spivey-Penny and Clarence Penny Sr. in Stockton, California. He attended school in the Stockton, the Unified School District and Delta College in Stockton, California.
Clarence accepted Christ as his savior at an early age and was an active member of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church where he held the position of choir director, and usher.
He enjoyed watching people achieve their dreams and joined in on the celebration of their success. Clarence was employed at the Plaza Hotel and Casino where he worked in the casino/hotel services department for over ten years.
In his pastime, Clarence enjoyed being with his family, friends, doing hair, traveling, singing, cooking, eating, seeing people happy, and having fun.
On Thursday, November 4, 2021m Clarence Penny Jr. departed this life to be with the Lord.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his parents: Betty Spivey-Penny and Clarence Penny Sr.; spouse, Dante Thompson; siblings: Tisha Penny (Joseph Skinner), Talon Penny, Reginald Gaines (Lenise Gaines), Aisha Gaines, Wadiya McCormick (Tubiya McCormick Sr.) Latonya Penny (Tyvon Hill Sr.) and Aaron Penny; his children: Josiah Green, Nyanna Green, and Trayvionce Penny (nephew/son); and his godmother, Gail Lofton. He also has a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends that he leaves to cherish his memories.
