Cindy Carroll

October 4, 1941 — August 6, 2016

Cindy Marie Carroll was born October 4th, 1941 in Mer Rouge, Los Angeles to Mr. and Mrs. Lenton Carroll Sr. She received her education through St. Matthew Church and School. At an early age she became a Christian via "The Mourner's Bench". She united with Eudora M.B.C.of Mer Rouge, Los Angeles under the leadership of the late Rev. James.

Cindy had Three daughters: Patricia, Joyce and Denise. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in December of 1978. She then united with Grace Immanuel M.B.C. under the leadership of the late Rev. Sylvester P. Parks. Being a Sr. Usher was one of many important positions in her life. Cindy was employed in the hotel industry were she began working at the Las Vegas Hilton on January 31st, 1979. She later would retire as a GRA from the same hotel on June 12th, 2004 with more than 25 years of service.

Throughout those years of employment, she met, maintained and became close friends with several people. Her passions were serving the Lord, word search puzzles, cooking of her never ending meals and shopping, If you didn't know, you might have thought she cooked in a branch of the military. The many stock pots, roasting pans and cask iron skillets used during holidays and weekdays meals spoke for themselves.

She departed this earthly home on Saturday August 6th, 2016 at 6:30am at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Both parents, all siblings 7 brothers and 4 sisters, one daughter Patricia Carroll Randolph who precedes her in death. In her home coming celebration, she leaves to cherish her memories; Two daughters: Joyce Hall (Steven) of San Diego, California; Denise Bowden (Michael) of Las Vegas, Nevada. Four grandchildren: Jonathan V. Carroll of Boise, Idaho; Jazzmyne Fitzgerald of Portland, Oregon; Umque Bowden of Las Vegas, Nevada; Debonaire Bowden of Las Vegas, Nevada and a host of relatives and friends.
