Chad Eric Marshall
March 6, 1971 – September 14, 2021
Chad Eric Marshall, 50, of Henderson, Nevada, formerly of Peoria, Illinois and Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully September 14, 2021.
Chad was born March 6, 1971, the only child of the late David Paul Marshall, and Rose L Marshall (VanBruwaene) of Peoria, Illinois.
After graduating High School in 1989, Chad enlisted in the U.S. Navy for 4 years, and was deployed on 2 Active Duty Tours; ‘Desert Storm’ and ‘The Gulf War’, on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69).
After serving his country, he went to Illinois Central College where he made The Dean’s List, and graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. Shortly thereafter, he began his 21 year career as a Radiologic Technologist, and moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2000.
Chad’s professional career continued in Phoenix for over 15 years as a Radiology Technologist/Manager. In 2015, he joined GE-OEC as a Clinical Imaging Specialist. During that time he became an expert in the use of GE OEC Orthopedic Equipment Company’s products. He applied that knowledge when he was offered a sales position with Merkley Medical, an exclusive distributor for GE-OEC products. Chad accepted this sales position in 2017 and with the support of his wife Misty, agreed to relocate from Phoenix, AZ to Las Vegas, NV. They dropped everything, left the financial security of their jobs and community behind and moved to a place they had only visited. Success was not guaranteed, sacrifices were made but Chad quickly “hit his stride” and achieved success in sales. His product knowledge and calm likable demeanor made him a trusted partner to his customers. Chad was a standout performer each year and his professional success continued to build. With Misty right by his side, and Chad being her #1 fan, together they found success and lived life to the fullest with family and friends right along side them.
As outdoor enthusiasts, Chad and Misty were avid members of the off-road and boating communities. They both enjoyed the water so much, they were married on their boat on March 12, 2016 in the middle of Lake Pleasant in Arizona surrounded by close friends and family.
They did not have children but absolutely love their two golden retrievers as such.
Chad leaves behind his beloved wife, Misty Marshall (Brown) of Portland, Oregon, his loving Mother, Rose L Marshall (VanBruwaene) of Peoria, Illinois. Chad was predeceased by his Father, David Paul Marshall of Peoria, Illinois.
