Cathy Graham

Cathy D. Graham was born January 10,1973, in Tallulah, LA to the beloved Gloria D. Graham and Donell Williams. She, her parents and siblings, lived in Tallulah, LA where she grew up. She attended Wright Elementary where she won “Ms. Wright Elementary” at a young age. She proceeded to McCall High School where she participated in the school choir and band. She had many accomplishments before she graduated and attended Grambling State University.

She gave her live to Christ and became a member of New Morning Star Baptist Church in Tallulah, LA. In January 1994, she gave birth to a baby girl, Ariel Henton, with her then husband. She was a nurse and worked at Madison Parish Hospital and had success in many other areas.

Then in 1998, she moved to Las Vegas, NV, where she worked and lived comfortably. She met the love of her life in 2001, Christopher Lawrence, and made happy memories all the way to the very end. Cathy was a beautiful, loving, and knowledge-filled person. She was awesome at cooking, making her own recipes, and making the best out of everything she touched. She had all the answers, seemingly. She was a comforter. She was a hero. She just always knew just what to do. When you thought of Cathy you knew everything was fine. She loved electronics, Gena Young cooking show, reading, art, and her loved ones. She will always and forever be the light ones close to her knew she could be.

Cathy departed this life February 23,2021. She is preceded in death by her mother Gloria and her grandson, A’Khayden.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Ariel, her granddaughter, I’Yanna, three sisters, four brothers, a significant other, Christopher Lawrence, her father, Donell Williams, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, family and friends.

She will be remembered for the love and knowledge she had for her family and friends.
