Caliyah Casey

It is with immeasurable love and sorrow that we remember the life of our precious angel, Caliyah Royale Casey, who graced our lives from September 7, 2022. Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Caliyah was a shining star in our lives, her presence a dancing light of unconditional love and infectious joy.

As her mother, I can tell you, Caliyah was a loving, thoughtful, compassionate, and inspiring soul who never met a stranger. She had an uncanny ability to recognize those who needed her light most, greeting them with a warm "Hello," a gentle kiss, or a comforting hug, and thus touching countless lives in her short time with us.

Caliyah loved to dance, play with her barbies and teddy bears, and found magic in the simplicity of bubbles and bath time. She showed an aversion only to eggs, a trait that made us chuckle and say, "Like Mother; Like Daughter." Her spirit was radiant, her love boundless. Her life, though brief, was a testament to the power of love and friendship. As Khalil Gibran once wrote, "In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures." Caliyah embodied this sweetness, sharing her joy with everyone she met.

Caliyah was preceded in death by her brother, Champion Dinero Moore. On Monday, June 8, 2026, Caliyah Royale Casey departed this life.

Caliyah leaves behind a family who adored her: her loving parents, her brother, grandparents, a host of relatives and friends. Though the loss of our Caliyah is profound, we find comfort in the memories of her that remain.

We will be gathering to honor her memory on Monday, 29 Jun 2026 at 12:00 PM at Heritage Mortuary, 3610 North Rancho Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89130. The services will be under the direction of Heritage Mortuary.
