Adrain Siggal

Adrain Dereik Siggal Sr., "Big A", was born June 19, 1954, to Lucille Rome and Benjamin Siggal Jr. in Biloxi, Mississippi. Adrain attended and graduated from Capital High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He went on to further his education attending Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Adrain married the love of his life, Leona Barber on September 29, 1974, in Las Vegas, Nevada in which they were married 38 years. Their union was blessed with two children; Anjel and Adrain Jr.

Adrain started his career being a member of the Culinary Union as a busy boy. He quickly worked his way up a cook and found himself working in many of the strips popular casino restaurants and cafes. He did this work for 30 plus years. He recently retired from the Culinary Union.

In his spare time he enjoyed traveling and was an avid movie watcher and slot player in which he played diligently collecting his gifts each and every week. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends laughing, joking, and playing from the time he woke up to the time he went to bed. He never wanted to see sadness, for life was the ultimate party to him and as long as he was invited he planned to dance.

Adrain fell asleep in death, November 28, 2012. He was processed in death by stepfather Willie Smith Sr., brother Robert Smith, and grandson Tyler Siggal. Cherishing his life and honoring his memories are: wife Loena Siggal of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter Anjel (Tony) Hill; son Adrain (Natasha) Siggal both of Las Vegas, NV; mother Lucille Smith of Baton Rouge, LA; father Benjamin Siggal Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; grandmother Alberta Emile of Baton Rouge, LA; mother-in-law Doretha Dunn of Baton Rouge, LA; 4 brothers Willie Smith Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, John Eric Smith of Las Vegas, NV, Randall Smith of Atlanta, GA, and Bernie Dickerson of Norfolk, VA; 6 sisters Caroline Vallery, Deborah Garrett, Dionne Mars, and Linda Brown all of Baton Rouge, LA, Casandra Chappey of Las Vegas, and Gail Potts of Gulfport, MS; 4 grandsons Adrain Siggal III, A’Quai Hill, Taylon Siggal, and Ta’mas Siggal; 3 granddaughters; Adaecia Hill, Adrenta Siggal, and Taryn Howard all of Las Vegas, NV; 4 god children Ricky Flanagon, Sunjay Barber, Ivan Barber, Lorenzo Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
