Linda met Ronald Ray Callahan in Ohio. They married in South Carolina on October 24, 1964. They were married 55 years 11 months, To that union three children were born, Rhonda (favorite oldest child), Renee (favorite middle child) and Russel (favorite youngest child).
After dad's tour in the United States Air Force, they moved to St. George, Utah and lived there for about three years. Dad went to Las Vegas to find work and from that day forward, Linda remained a fulltime housewife, mommy and homemaker until her passing.
If you really knew her, you knew she really had a funny side to her, because she was always full of sarcasm. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. Mom has always stressed the importance of believing and trusting in the Lord and to pray when times are good and bad as God is always with us and hears our prayers. Blue was her favorite color and she adored Hummingbirds. She enjoyed being around her family.
In 2004 Mom had her first bout with Congestive Heart Failure. During this time, the Lord wanted to take her. He extended His hands to her while she laid in the hospital bed and she asked God for more time because she felt she had so much more to do here. She wanted to make sure all her kids and grandkids knew how important it was to love God. We have all been blessed to have been given this time.
On September 18, 2020, her heart failed, and she went on to be with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her sister Margaret Reeves and one granddaughter Chelsea Jo.
