Joseph Perry Jr. was born to Sherron and Joseph Perry Sr. on July 5, 1967, at Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sherron Perry married Otis Banks when Joseph was just a little boy. Together the two of them, lovingly raised their son who grew to develop a love for music, football and cooking. Homemade Lasagna was one of his favorite things to cook.
Joe, as he was known by family and friends, graduated from Southern Nevada Vocational Technical Center, where he studied Air Conditioning, Heating and Cooling. He worked for four years at the Nevada Test Site.
On Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at the age of 53, he responded to the gentle voice calling him home.
He leaves to cherish his memories, four children who he loved dearly: a daughter, Samona Perry, and three sons: Joseph Perry III (Jessica), Leland Perry, and Jovon Perry, two grandchildren: Liliana and Julian, his parents: Otis and Sherron Banks, two brothers: Patrick Perry and Derrick “Bobby” Hall, two sisters: Youwanna Perry and Sherina Perry, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Joseph Perry Jr. is at peace. You will forever be in our hearts and will be remembered for the love that you had for all your family and friends.
