Obituary for Veonia C Kizzee

REFLECTION OF LIFE

Veonia Catherine Kizzee “Poochie” was born in Los Angeles, California on April 4, 1945. She was the fifth of seventeen children born to James and Willie Ethel Kizzee.

She resided in Los Angeles, California during her childhood and most of her adult life. Veonia attended school in the Los Angeles Unified School Districted.

In Seeking to improve her life Poochie was able to do just that...she turned her life around. She enjoyed a new way of living. In her pastime, she loved to shop, dance to some good old-school music, and be in everyone’s business while getting the story all wrong. Then, to top that all off, she had a love for her grandchildren and her great grandchildren…”Like That.” If you knew Poochie, you heard her say that phrase a thousand times.

Veonia departed this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. She was proceeded in death by her mother, her father, sisters, and brothers.

Veonia Catherine Kizzee “Poochie” leaves to cherish her memories her children: Leona Johnson, Richard Thompson, Rodney Thompson, Shawn Thompson, Sheryl Thompson, and Erika Thompson, a host of grandchildren, and great grandchildren, six sisters, four brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

As Veonia leaves behind an amazing legacy of love, which is evidenced by the love and support of her family and friends. Veonia, you will always remain in our hearts until we meet again. We Love you, Poochie!
