Condolence: It was a joy to work with you for the short time that I was able to. I will miss your short, sweet daily greeting, "hey baby girl, how're you doin' today!", you always started my day off with a smile. You will be greatly missed. God Bless you on your next journey.

Condolence: Laurel was my neighbor in which I had the privilege of knowing for only a short time. She was a beautiful lady and always had a kind word to say. She will truly be missed by many. But she is now free! Prayers to her family, May God give them strength, and peace during this time. Peaceful journey my friend.

Condolence: Laurel - you were an amazing and loving person, a bright light, a wonderful mother to your children and all of their close friends- like me!! I am the lucky one to have you as a part of my life and to have been able to be in your life! I remember meeting your Moe Moe in 10th grade and almost instantly becoming inseparable. Thus starting the week long stay overs at your place or however long you could tolerate two teenage crazy and wild teens before Lyndia and I would head to my house for the next week long run! Lol- school nights, weekends, holidays didn't matter. Moe and I were always together. You always made me feel so welcomed and loved. You were always smiling and laughing. Believe it or not you most defiantly had a role in my growth and I will forever love you and cherish all the memories I have. Thinking of losing you has flooded my mind with memories. Endless hours of Skipbo, hanging at the pool at your condo, your friend Taffy and you just being silly and one of the girls!!! I remember riding around in your car and I can honestly see you getting mad at Moe and I a couple times... specifically recall one time Lyndia had ran away after a fight and ended up at the motel my Uncle Mike was staying at and I was spending the night there with my cousin Amanda and the cops showed up there looking for her cause you just knew she would be headed to me Lol!
And I'm pretty sure you remember the first time our sweet tiny little friend Patrica got drunk and you were upset with us for letting it happen on your clock (rightfully so)! However when I think about you the thing that comes to mind the most was just how important you made everyone feel and how much you loved your Moe Moe!

I will forever miss you. Love you mama! Fly free!

To my Lyndia and all who loved Laurel, I'm so incredibly sorry to hear of this great loss. I can only imagine the pain of losing my parents and even just the thought brings me to my knees. The passing of Laurel hits me hard as I saw her as and called her mamma growing up and even into adulthood! Just think of her smile and laughter and remember how bright her light truly shined. What an amazing lady!! Xxoo!

Love,
Mia
