68 Years Old

Janet was born at Detroit Lakes Hospital, MN. to Ella and Louis Quittschrieber. She was born and raised on the family farm in Evergreen Township, MN. with four brothers and two sisters. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, also in Evergreen Township, MN. She graduated from Frazee High School in 1968. Following graduation, she attended Alexandria Technical College of the Arts. In 1970, following graduation, she was hired by Joslin's in Owatonna, MN. as a ring designer, where she retired after 32 years of devoted service.

Janet married Donald Christofferson on May 27th, 1971 and had 3 beautiful children together. They later divorced in 1987. She later married Mark Reiling in 1993.

Janet was known for her artistic talents, her never ending faith and smile. She was always smiling. She enjoyed retirement in Arizona with her husband Mark Reiling. She was a daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, wife, mother and grandmother. A friend to many, she was loved by all who knew her. "She will be greatly missed".

Janet is survived by her husband Mark Reiling; 3 children: Neil Christofferson, Jeff (Kelly) Christofferson and Verna Christofferson; 3 step children: Jenny (Brian) Reiling, Missy (Ben) Grice and Kristen Portifio Arauio Calero; Brothers; Donald (Ann) Quittschrieber, Vernon (Bernadette) Quittschrieber, Richard (Mary) Quittschrieber; sisters: Alice (Curtis) Berg and Joyce (David) Rodewald; 5 grandchildren; Ryan Christofferson, Brittny Chrstofferson, Devin Chrstofferson, Katelynn Robert and Nicholas Roberts; 3 step-grandchildren: Annie, Esra and Esher Grice and a host of many nieces and nephews.

Janet is preceded in death by parents; Ella and Louis Quittschrieber; brother: Harold Quittschrieber; daughter-in-law: Mary Christofferson; Vernon and Mary Christofferson Ann Reiling.
